The Program
Serious dogs. Honest breeding.
We have been keeping and breeding high-caliber dogs since the 1990s — hunting, companion, and working dogs, all with ability and temperament as the objective. Around 2010 we started with the Boerboel, looking for a dog with the stature to dissuade any unwanted intruder and the intelligence to distinguish friend from foe.
Through research and selection — including imported South African bloodlines from kennels like Klein Sandfontein, Cabaret, and Afrika — we have put together a kennel of dogs that carry exactly those attributes.

Why South Florida Boerboels
Temperament. Function. Form.
Temperament
A Boerboel should be confident, stable, discerning and naturally protective. We breed for dogs that understand their environment, respect authority and possess the courage to respond when genuinely needed.
Function
The Boerboel is a working farm and guardian breed. Our dogs are expected to be versatile — capable companions, property guardians and working dogs with the strength, intelligence and drive to handle whatever is asked of them.
Form
Form follows function. We select powerful, athletic Boerboels with sound structure, efficient movement and the physical ability to perform the work for which the breed was developed.
